Questions?

When should I apply liquids?

For best results, liquids should be applied in advance of a storm. This ensures that the snow will not bond to the pavement, allowing for easy shovelling, and reduced ice formation after snow falls. Post storm application will be required in some situations.

Why is chloride so dangerous?

When chloride ions are released into the environment, they cause damage to infrastructure, property, plants, soil, freshwater environments & and human health. Once they enter the environment, they are very hard to remove.

How can I get started with liquids?

By purchasing our starter pack! Or by purchasing our 2330 blend, putting it in a spray bottle, and trying it out on your walkway. Once you wrap your head around applying the product BEFORE it snows, you'll never see snow shovelling the same again!

How are liquid salts any better?

Using liquid salt instead of granular rock salt has been proven to reduce overall chloride use by 30% or more. More precise & effective delivery of the product means that you can make a serious dent into the problem with liquids alone.

Where does the sugar beet come from?

Sugar beet is one of the leading sources of sugar in North America. When the sugar beet is processed, it has a number of waste products. We utilize these byproducts as the basis for our unique sugar beet blend, that improves effectiveness and efficiency of traditional brines at lower temperatures.

Does it stain?

No! These are not the typical beets that you think of. They are white - not purple. The product has a slight smell - kind of like molasses, but is water soluble and does not stain concrete, clothing or anything else.
